This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship
(for mom anyway)

This morning while I was standing in the kitchen doing the dishes, I realized it was way too quiet in the house. Which can mean only one thing:

Hudson is up to no good!

I called his name as I dried off my hands, and heard him chattering. As usual I wasn't exactly sure what he was saying, but I was sure it was coming from the kids' bathroom. He loves to brush his teeth and unroll toilet paper every chance he gets. If you leave the door open for just a split second he is in there causing all kinds of trouble.

This time he was sitting on the toilet-lid closed yelling

"I poop, I poop!"

and pointing to his butt. The aroma in the room confirmed that he did in fact "poop"!

He was in the right room, at the right time! Step one complete.

He is barely 18 months old, so I am not expecting any miracles, but this is a step in the right direction.

It will be an amazing thing to not have any children in diapers. We will be rich! It has been over 9 years since we were free of buying and changing diapers.

With the exception of a few month break between Maggie and Hudson although we were buying diapers in preparation for Hudson's birth during that time.

My baby is becoming a big boy, and I love it!!!

Go Hudson!!!!!

YAY that is so awesome! Shiloh has done a few things like sit on her toy that has a rounded lid and pooped in her diaper while doing that & she is really embarrassed to poop in front of anyone but me LOL but I feel at 15 months it is too soon to start potty training but at 18 months you bet I will be encouraging it :-) YAY Hudson!!
