St. Patrick's Day

We like to have fun on St. Patrick's Day in the Harper house. We have lots of green things for dinner. This year I added something new and fun to the dinner. Individual pots of gold (jell-o jigglers which by the way I finally figured out how to make).

We had chicken fried steak with green gravy, gold nuggets (corn), green apple sauce and green mashed potatoes.
An yes, that is my super cute 70's Pyrex. I broke it out for St. Paddy's day it being green and all!

A few nights ago the kids made leprechaun hats. It was a mess, but tons of fun!

FUN! I'm glad I'm not the only one that does silly stuff like this! We had green pancakes for breakfast, green snacks throughout the day and corned beef and cabbage for dinner. The leprechaun's left "treasure" for the girls to find in the morning. Which is always a big hit! I love the hats, super cute! :o)

Wow, fun! I have never gotten into St. Patty's day...now that the kids are in school they go on and on about what the mischievious leprachaun has been up to... Perhaps next year we will do something fun here at home too!
