The shirt says it all. He is awesome! Hudson has been potty trained since November 7th. I haven't posted about it because I didn't want to jinx it; but I think we are in the clear (insert me knocking on wood). Dry all day and night.
It was so easy I am embarrassed to talk about it. It's one of those subjects that when you tell people he did it himself you open yourself up to a barrage of stories about how horrible other people had it, and then some how you become the bad guy. This happened to me all the time when I was pregnant. The second a person found out I didn't have morning sickness I would get a much exaggerated story about how sick someone was and how I was a jerk for not puking!
Back to my point..Hudson. He is too little to get on the toilet by himself so his brothers taught him to say "I'm about to pee myself!" It isn't my favorite saying, but if he goes on the toilet, I don't care what he says. Although, if my mother were here she would kill me for letting my 2 year old son say "pee", but you do what you have to I say!
Hudson is my last baby. I guess he isn't so much a baby as a little boy now. It's time to say goodbye to the decade of buying diapers and wiping butts (even though I do still wipe his butt, it's just a lot less messy now) and hello to a future of blissful bathroom breaks and freedom.
CONGRATULATIONS HUDSON!!!
YOU ARE A BIG BOY NOW!!!
