Since I wrote the entry on the kids wishes I have been thinking about wishes.
How your wishes change through the years, how every ones wishes are personal-in fact I have decided that someone somewhere didn't want to tell their birthday wish and told their kid that if they told it wouldn't come true.
It has also occurred to me that wishing for something and hoping for something are too very different things.
To me a wish is personal, but shared and a hope is something you keep to yourself.
Here are some of my wishes:
I wish for the usual things world peace, a stop to hunger, to be skinny without effort, family members and friends didn't die blah, blah, blah.
I wish for my kids to live long and happy lives
I wish that I will be alive long enough to see my grand kids grow up
I wish I developed a love for exercise as a child -that way maybe I wouldn't hate it so much now!
I wish my mouth didn't move faster than my brain
I wish food that was healthy tasted like food that was bad for you
I wish I had enough money to randomly help people in need
I wish I looked half way decent without makeup
I wish I loved the outdoors- I know Rex wishes that too
I wish my mom was still alive. I know I put family members not dying already, but I really wish this one. Everyday in fact.
I wish I knew how to crochet
I wish I wasn't so nervous all the time
I wish I could sit and watch a movie without feeling like I was going to crawl out of my own skin
I wish the polish on my toe nails would not chip
Finally,
I wish everyone a great day.
