Happy Birthday Hudson!

Last Tuesday was Hudson's birthday. 3 years old already. Since Rex was at Boy Scout camp in the Olympic Peninsula we had a small celebration on Tuesday and a big celebration on Sunday with daddy.

Since he is a monster we made a monster cake. It turned out better than I thought it would. Keep in mind I am not a cake decorator by any stretch of the imagination. I am defiantly a buy- it-from-the-bakery kind of girl, but my horizons are expanding.

He is so sweet opening his presents. Everyone is a new adventure waiting to be unwrapped.

We were lucky this year and had Grandma Harper with us. They bought his a Radio Flyer Tricycle. He absolutely loves it. In fact, he rode it to bed so he could ride it first thing in the morning. The only problem was it proved to be too much of a temptation and we had to take it out of his room for the night. I mean what's wrong with a little 10 P.M. trike ride? GEEZ! Either way he was up bring and early to kick the tires on that puppy.
Hudson is such a fun kid, full of personality and life. He loves to laugh and make you laugh. He tries with everything he has to keep up with "his kids" (that's what he calls his brothers and sister) and does a pretty good job at it. He is such a joy to be around. We are blessed to have him in our family.
