Happy 10th Birthday Brody!!!

Yesterday was Brody's 10th birthday. I can not believe he is already 10 years old. 3 years until he's a teenager! Where does time go?

He loves the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series so that was the theme of his party. We invited some friends over to play some games we developed from different things in the book and then the boys watched the movie. My favorite part of the party was helping the boys "Wimpy" themselves. On the website you can make your own character so we had all the boys make their own characters and then put them on the front of a journal.

Since he was turning 10 we tried to think of a big boy gift. We finally decided on a stereo. It has an iPod jack and an alarm clock. He really think that having an alarm clock makes you a big kid. Either way he was sooo excited.

Brody is such a cool kid. He has a huge heart and always thinks of others first. He got some Barnes and Noble gift certificates for his birthday and shared them with Wyatt and Maggie. He loves to make people happy. I am so proud of the decisions he makes. He lights up a room when he enters. He is funny like his dad.

I am so proud to call him my son. He is becoming a big boy, and even though it breaks my heart to see that little boy disappearing I am so excited to see what kind of young man he becomes.
