When the kids are having a hard time doing something Rex and I have three responses for their complaints.

If they say:

"I can't do it"
We say:

"Don't say can't, say I am having a hard time"

If they say:

"It's too hard"

We say:

"You can do hard things"

If they quit something in the middle or do a poor joband say something like:

"I couldn't do it"

We say:

"Anything worth doing is worth doing well"

We work hard so we can play hard. That is the way we live our lives. Sometimes we do things that seem crazy, but we have a great time and make great memories . Summer time is the time to do that. Rex is gone all winter working, so summer is the time to break out! That is what we have been doing.
