Brody has improved so much this year. He steals bases evey time he gets on base, he hits the ball farther than he ever has before, and he is a great outfielder. His pitching has improved tremendously, and he has discovered the joy boys find in sunflower seeds!
Either way, all of the cancelled games have to be made up-(which I am not sure there will be time for.)
The only day that is open for that is Sunday (not to mention his play-off games, All-Sta
r games and Championship games are on Sunday too- don't worry, I do intend to write a letter to the Board telling them my opinion on the matter) . We don't play games on Sundays, so that left Brody in an tough place. Does he play or not? We gave him the choice. He knows what we believe, and it was up to him to make the decision.
He chose to not play.
I was so proud of him. I knew in my heart he would make the right choice, but it filled me with joy to know that he had the strength to stand up for what he believed in and chose not to do something he loved so much.I am really blessed to have such great kids.
