Magnolia the Kindergartner
My baby girl graduated from preschool. I cannot believe she is going to Kindergarten, but she is. She had her shots a few months ago, and thought she got to go right then and there; so she is obviously ready. I on the other hand might not be as ready.
She was so proud at her graduation. She looked beautiful in her dress that matched her huge black eye beautifully.
As her name was called, and she went up to get her diploma as if she was floating on a cloud. For her leaving Mini School means so much more than going to school all day, it means going to school with her older brothers. It means riding the bus, eating in the cafeteria, seeing her brothers at recess and so many other exciting possibilities.
I am excited for her to go start a new adventure, but sad we won't be together during the day. Our district has started all day kindergarten this year, and frankly, I am a little sad about it. What happened to easing mom into this big girl thing!?! Actually, I don't like it for a lot of reasons, that is just my selfish one! The only thing that made Maggie's graduation day more special was that her dad, Aunt Nanda, cousins Renee and Dakota and brothers all got to be there to see her graduate. They all got to see her become a big girl.
We love you Maggie, and hope you have a great adventure in the big world.

I totally feel ya, girl! My youngest will be in school this Fall as well. I can't hardly think about it without bawling my head off. Congrats to your big girl on her graduation!
