This will be the first of several update blogs. Then hopefully, I will be able to do a pretty great before and after posting about my house. Things are really coming together. There is a light at the end of this construction tunnel.
Green Eggs and Ham, Sam I am....
Wyatt is in the first grade at York Elementary. Each year a local restaurant called Beaches hosts a Green Eggs and Ham breakfast (at the kids' school) for first graders on or near Dr, Seuss' birthday.
The kids look forward to it for weeks. They all get to go to the cafeteria with their families and eat their green eggs and ham. They also get a Cat in the Hat type hat. That may be the coolest part of the morning.
Wyatt was randomly given an orange hat, orange is his favorite color, so he was soooo excited. He loves to have fun, and he was right in his element at this breakfast.
As we ate, he had several little friends come over and talk to him. He is such a sweet boy, he loves to make everyone happy. These are pictures of some of his friends. Kaitlyn is a little neighbor girl, and Isaac is Thayne and Brandy's son, as well as Wyatt's friends.
Everyone had a great time. I am so thankful to be able to stay home and be able to go to fun things like this at the kids school.
I love to see the kids in their element. I had so much fun watching Wyatt talk to his friends, and ask each one of them if they were having fun. It makes me smile to see how concerned he is about his friends. He has a big, soft heart. He is all about the fun. Sometimes that can get him in trouble, but most of the time he just rolls with the punches and has fun in every situation. He defiantly got that trait from his dad.
