Happy Birthday Mama!

Yesterday was my moms birthday. She would have been 59. I know if she was alive she would have mixed feelings about 59. I think she would have been grateful to have lived another year, but unhappy to be closer to the 6-0!

Either way, just wanted to post a happy birthday to the best mom ever. She taught me how to be a great mom and all the things in life that are important, but she also taught me how to

~toilet paper a house properly~

~saran wrap a car shut as quietly as possible~

~duct tape someone into their house~

~pull pranks on anyone at any time~

~drive 600 miles on a whim just to get a cheeseburger~

~dance in the kitchen no matter if the windows are open or not~

~appreciate the genius of Elvis~

and much, much more.

My mom was funny. She loved to laugh and have a good time no matter how bad a situation was. We would laugh until we cried. My mom, Amanda and I laughed more than we did anything else. Those are the best memories.
