Saying Goodbye to Summer

The kids have started school, the days are getting longer, clouds in the sky are beginning to look more daunting, I have changed the scents in the Scentsy, and I am beginning to feel the desire to bake. This must mean the end of summer has arrived, and the cool mornings of fall are around the corner.

As I reflect on the summer, I am suprised how fast it actually went. We didn't take any monumental trips this summer, but it seems to me we had the most fun summer in family history.

We hung out with good friends.....

Rex, Magnolia, Nate and Kenzie at Yale

We discovered new loves.....

Hudson loved watermelon so much we had to hide it from him

Brody never hesitated on the tube. He loves the water.

Maggie loved the new "big girl" bike she got for her birthday

Wyatt never tired of going down the waterslide

Watching UFC Live, not eachother!

We (Rex) lit up the sky on the 4thof July.....

Rex with his big fireworks. All the little ones were still outside.

Teaching Maggie proper firework lighting technique.

One of hundreds. The show went on for 45 straight minutes!

We took the boat out as many times as possible.....

Saddle Dam, Yale Lake

We celebrated birthdays.....

Hudson's 1st birthday. He ate almost the entire cake all by himself. He really lives up to the nickname!

Maggie all dressed up for her Tinkerbell birthday party

Jacob, James, Brody, Wyatt, Bryten, Maggie & Jayden after watching G Force 3-D

We went to San Franciso on Rex's company jet to celebrate a record sales month.....

Eating lunch at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Factory on Pier 29

Jason, Matt, Jeff and Rex outside the jet

We went to visit family in Idaho for a family reunion.....

We spent all day Saturday at a huge waterslide. We had so much fun.

Rex's aunt and uncle own a dairy farm. The kids love to go see the animals everytime we are there.

On the way home Hudson pooped EVERYWHERE! We had to pull over at a Wal-Mart and give him a water bottle shower. It was bad!

and we started school.....

The boys waiting at the bus stop on the first day

Wyatt's first day of 1st grade

Brody's first day of 3rd grade.

Maggie's first day of her last year of preschool

We are looking forward to fall fun. We have Fall Baseball for Brody, Soccer for Wyatt and Dance Class for Maggie. In October we will go to Utah for the elk hunt with the family, and then the most important...HALOWEEN!!!!
